Which of the dream quilt blues would be a blue/green mix -- perhaps a mineral color? Also, which is darker -- the citadel blue or the fog blue?
The color Blue Haze is a blue with strong green tones (or green with strong Blue tones - color is very subjective). The Citadel Blue is a darker shade than the Fog Blue.

Has the quality control issue of the threads breaking that were mentioned in the 1 star reviews been taking care of. Was it a bad batch or a particular color. I just ordered these and I’m concerned about the quality.

How much shrinkage can be expected when washing and drying?

The Fog Blue is more of a light blue.

I have three of these quilts.
So soft! They are light enough for summer and yet warm in the winter with layers. They are not heavy, like some quilts can be. I have three of these quilts! The only complaint, the pic stitch quilting in these quilts can come loose. I have had to fix two of my quilts.

This is a wonderful quilt! The weight is perfect for all seasons! The size is also spot on for our king size bed- covers all sides hust right; not too long or short on the sides. It is very well made and the neutral color is easy to jazz up!

Love Sleeping Under our Dream Quilt
Why are we enjoying our new dream quilt? We received a Birch-colored quilt, and been using it about a week at this writing. The color is nice. It's just the right weight and feels so comfortable to sleep under. The fabric feels good, too, and we appreciate the hand-quilted craftsmanship.
What were the initial concerns once the quilt was received? The quilt (again, Birch color) had a consistent yellow casting, not the anticipated color. In fact, we preferred the color of the back side better (lighter and not as yellow). Another reviewer mentioned the chemical odor. I could only smell it with my nose pressed against the fabric. Even still, with numerous sensitivities and allergies, I was concerned about the toxins. Based on other reviews, we also ordered a king-size quilt for a queen-sized bed. First of all, washing the quilt removed the yellow color cast and the noxious odor. AND the expected color was restored.
The spread was placed on the bed prior to washing it. The king-sized quilt fell about 3 inches from the floor on each side of the bed. There was excessive draping around the foot of the bed on each corner--rather expected. Once the 100% cotton quilt was washed and dried (several cycles on a low setting), it shrunk at least 12 inches on each side (possibly more). Even still, I am convinced that the king-size is a better fit than a queen-size for a queen bed.
Initially I was not pleased with the texture of the fabric. It did not feel like 100% cotton, but more like a polyester blend. Washing has improved the tactile quality and we are pleased. I have a feeling that subsequent washings will continue to soften the fabric.
Right now, we are happy campers and hope to be as satisfied years from now.

A Quilt For All Seasons

Classic yet Modern
