Is the quilt warm enough for winter use in New York city? The apartment is usually 65-70 degrees at night.
This is more of a Spring Quilt, so it is a lighter weight. However, if your apartment is 65-70 degrees, it should be fine.

on the website this color looks more like a light leaf or apple green. In the catalog it looks brighter and less yellowish: more like a light, lime green. Which is more accurate?

Blue vs. lapis? Cottage blue?
I want to purchase the dream quilt and shams, but the shams only come in lapis and not blue. Is this a typo, or are they essentially the same color?
My other question is- is cottage blue more towards and aqua?

Does the dream quilt shrink significantly?
I ordered a twin size for my full sized bed, because the bed is low to the ground, and the queen would be too long. Is the quilt pre-shrunk, or did anyone notice that their quilt shrank (sideways) a lot when drying in the dryer on low? Thank you!
This quilt will shrink approximately 2” in both directions. The dimension shown are after wash and account for the shrinkage.

I live in AZ where our summers are into the 100 degree mark. Is the Dream Quilt light enough for such hot climate?
PS: I already have your essential down comforter which is too warm and heavy for us now that summer is coming upon us. We need to change to a much lighter weight blanket or similar.

Is the Dream Sham quilted on both sides?
Some of the quilted shams have quilting on one side to allow the pillow to have a pocket opening on the back (i.e. Eileen Fisher Chambray Sham). Was wondering if this sham was constructed the same?

How much shrinkage will occur with washing. My current coverlet does is now too small for my king size bed, and I want this one to cover the bed.
I will be using this as a coverlet, not just a blanket, and need it to cover the mattress sides
The measurements quoted for the king size Dream Quilt (101" x 90") are the "after wash" measurements when laundered accordingly.

Is the quilt supposed to lose it's softness after laundering?
I love this quilt...it was so soft and cozy, however, when I laundered it, it came out much stiffer than it was originally. Now I don't love it so much... I followed the care instructions from this website, but am disappointed in the result. Help!!!

Is the Cottage Blue a bright shade of aqua or is it muted, also is this quilt thicker than the Tumble Swirl Coverlet?
The color is more muted. As a quilt has batting between the layers, it is thicker than a coverlet.

I noticed several comments regarding the quality of the quilt, with the threads popping and the pilling. Have you changed the quality?
I have had none of those issues. However, this quilt should be washed in a front loading machine and dried in an extra-large front loading dryer. I would recommend TWO dryer sheets and, depending on the size of the quilt you order, you will have to pull it out and turn it around about every 20 - 25 minutes until it dries out nice and puffy!

What color is mineral green? Different pictures appear dull grey-green, aqua or bright mint. Is it the same as aqua haze in the filigree quilt?
The green is this quilt is very pretty, more of a silverish green than a grey-green. I have green sheets in two colors - forest green and silver green - both look very nice with this quilt.

Can you recommend a bed skirt that would coordinate with the French Lilac Dream Quilt?
I do tend to stick to classic combinations but I think it would be fun to think of the bedding as the flower "lilac", the lavenderishness on top & a creamy green to represent the stem on the bottom would look very sweet together.Don't forget a great pop of color with the right accent pillow.
