is the deep taupe a pinkish brown or more grey brown? does it age to pink? thanks
The Deep Taupe has undertones of pink. We have not had reports of the rug fading to pink.

I washed my blue & white bath rug in my washing machine w cold water by itself & it shed terribly. Blue lint is stuck onto the white area. I hoped the blue lint might come off after I dried it on the no heat dryer setting - no luck. What's wrong?

Do these rug colors coordinate with the Signature towels? For example, I bought the steel colored towels, so is the steel color rug an exact match?
The rugs are designed to coordinate with the towels but may not be an "exact" match.

The "Stone Gray" looks quite brown online. Can you describe the color in greater detail?
The Stone Gray color does have strong brown tones. It is similar to a medium taupe.

My bath is blue and white. I am interested in cotton tufted bath rug, sailor blue. Might the color transfer to the off-white carpet covering the floor?
We would not think the cotton tufted bath rug would serve its purpose on top of a carpet. It would certainly shed dark blue fibers on the carpet.

What color rugs coordinate with the GARNET Signature Towels?
While we do not have a rug with garnet colored accents, we do have some neutral colors that will coordinate nicely with the garnet towels.

The Best Bathroom Rugs
I have been so pleased with these rugs that I bought some recently for a second bathroom. They are thick and plush, the colors are as advertised, they wash up easily in the washer and dryer, come out fluffy, and are really absorbent. I really like how I can flip them over; no yucky bottoms. I bought some matching hand towels when I bought the original set of rugs too since Garnet Hill offers the same colors for towels. I highly recommend them.

Exact color and material!

I have been looking for a dark gray rug to go with some towels I already had. It was difficult to find a larger size that had some style to it and didn't look cheap. This one is perfect, double sided was an added plus. Say so was and dry on delicate to thats an extra step I have to manage but after searching all the popular sites it is work it.

Nice size and plush
I replaced a worn out oval rug with this generously sized rectangular rug. I love the two tone color combo of alabaster. It's subtle but pretty. I washed before using and it created lots of lint but that is common with cotton rugs.

It's a nice bath rug, but...
It's a nice quality bath rug and buying online was easy - but the color we ordered from photos is not the same color that is delivered to you. GH took the rug back and paid the freight too.
I do think they need to get proper online photos of their bath rugs and towels too, as we sent back the order of matching towels that were not the same color as the online photos.
I like the GH quality, styles and ease of ordering - I just would liked to have received the color that we thought we ordered!

Excellent in the long term
The first one I bought over twelve years ago. It has been washed many times and fluffs back up nicely. The color is stable and hasn’t faded. I bought a second one recently only because I changed the color of my towels and look forward to it being like the last one.
