The bed is beautiful. I have an adjustable base and wanted to know if it could be used with this bed frame. The adjustable base has legs but can also be placed directly on a platform bed. Also what is the height of the side rails? Thank you
We do not recommend using an adjustable bed base with this bed.

How many inches between the top surface of the slats and the top of the side rail?
We do not have the exact measurement, however the side rails are 6"H. The Bed requires a mattress & a low-profile box spring.

do you have night stands or dressers to go with this bed? if not what have you recommended?
We think that this bed is unique enough to stand on its own and become the focal point of the room. We would suggest nightstands and dresser that do not try to match the bed but that coordinate with each other if you are looking for consistency. We can see this bed in almost any setting ranging from Traditional to Country French to Modern.

How much space is there at the footboard to tuck in a comforter? Would the bed look good with the comforter pushed down into the footboard space or would it need to be tucked under the mattress?
The Swedish Bed measures in the Queen size 58H x 65W x 87L. A queen size mattress measures 60W x 80L, so it looks as though you will have a few inches to tuck in at the footboard or tuck under the mattress, whichever look you prefer.

Does a standard queen size mattress and 9" high boxspring work for this bed?
We recommend a low profile box-spring no higher than 7". A higher box-spring can be used but will show above the side rails. A standard queen size mattress will work fine.

The bed looks really great. It's simple and elegant, the quality of the wood and carvings is good, the bed is sturdy, and it wasn't difficult to put together. I felt a little strange ordering furniture from Garnett Hill (I'm more of a bedding and towel shopper at GH), but we're quite happy with it!

Swedish bed is beautiful
The craftsmanship and quality of the Swedish bed are amazing. It’s is just beautiful. It was packed carefully but somehow a finial cracked in shipping anyway. I was able to fix and realign it with the gentle help of a rubber mallet.

Lovely heirloom
I love this bed & the dresser; the nightstand is meh. I love the quality, the bead detail, the finish on the bed & dresser. The bed was worth the rather long wait. Delivery was smooth. Garnet Hill will want to speak with the supplier about packaging, however. The plastic wrap on the bed is so wound so tightly it broke off a headboard finial. Luckily, it was a clean enough break that a handy spouse with carefully applied wood glue could re-attach it perfectly, & save the headboard. This was not rough handling, it was a packing issue. Anyway, the bed is lovely & will endure, & we are glad we could repair it well & not have to return it.
