Are the supima percale sheets wrinkle resistant?
No, the Supima Percale sheets are not wrinkle resistant. We suggest removing from the dryer as soon as they are dry to cut down on wrinkles.

I am thinking of purchasing these sheets....Does the top sheet have plenty of fabric to tuck into the end of the bed. I've had short sheets for too many years and I need them to be long enough to tuck in.

I want a percale sheet like I used to be able to buy--soft, not "crisp." Some reviewers say these are soft, others say crisp, one even said they have a "crackly" sound! What is the softness? I live in the desert. Summers are hot, even nights!
Percale is considered a crisp sheet. You may consider a Sateen sheet for softness.

Solid White Supima percale - will these come out of dryer very wrinkled?
We find if you take the sheets right out of the dryer when slightly damp or as soon as they are dry they will be less likely to wrinkle.

I want a heavy sheet, meaning I hate thin sheets that wrinkle up easily while on the bed. Is the thickness of a sheet a result of thread count or the material, or both? How do I choose among yours? I don't like Sateen. Thanks for a primer on sheets!
The thread count means the number of threads woven together in a square inch. You count both lengthwise (warp) and widthwise (weft) threads. The thread count does not always indicate the weight of a sheet.
We would recommend a Organic Cotton Knit sheet.

These sheets were a happy surprise. I purchased GH hemstitched percale sheets several years ago and they have worn very well, and decided I needed a new pattern. The new sheets have a delightfully silky smooth feel, not the slightly stiff, crisp feel of my older sheets. They are lightweight, yet the material feels very durable. No wrinkles so far! During the last hot days of summer these sheets felt cooler than a satin sheet of comparable weight.
My only hesitations were the incredibly drab color palate, and a couple of 1/2 inch black spots on the fitted sheet, which did wash out.
