Does the cashmere shawl shed when worn with other wool clothing or other fabrics? I had a cashmere shawl I purchased from a boutique that did shed. Thanks so much!
The nature of the cashmere wrap (including any cashmere items) may transfer some fibers especially if you are wearing a dark wrap with light clothing or vice versa.

Is this cashmere wrap really washable. "Joyful Mom" says she had washed 3 times in her review.
I wash mine on the hand wash setting of my front load washing machine using woolite and drape it on a drying rack to dry. It does plump up the fibers a bit on some of the colors but I own 9 of these and they’ve never pilled or gotten damaged in any way. Caveat- I take great care of my wraps, spot clean immediately if I get a spill and do not wash them often. If you feel the need for frequent washing I would hand wash in the sink instead.

Why does cashmere get little “balls” on it after only a few uses? How do I prevent/remedy this?
The little cashmere "balls" you are speaking of are caused by friction, a longer fiber catching on a shorter fiber. We recommend the use of a sweater stone or sweater shaver.

I'm just under 5'4" and I'm concerned this will be way too long for me. Do you have any experience with shorter women wearing this wrap? I love it but don't want it to overwhelm me in size.
We have multiple employees that are shorter that wear this wrap all winter long. It measures 86" long by 27" wide.

I bought a cashmere wrap from another company- it was expensive, double the cost of the Garnet Hill one. The problem is that it shed all over my clothes, the gray one left fuzz all over my black clothes. Has anyone had this experience with the GH wraps?
I now have 7 of these and I use them constantly and give them as gifts (when I can catch them on sale). They are so soft, thick and the quality is amazing. And no, they don’t pill at all. They’re just the best.
