The silver stripe towels discolor
I bought this towels and really liked the feel of them, the size, the way they dried well after a shower, but the silver stripe ones are discoloring to a beige color. Not happy with that at all.

Disappointed
They look very nice but they don’t seem to be thick enough or they absorb water to the point of feeling too wet before finishing drying off. They also take more time to dry than other towels I’ve used.

I have had these (2) towels since last summer. (2019)They are actually bath towels. Both towels are fraying on the side. I used a zigzag stitch to stem the fraying, but disappointed that I had to do that kind of work after only 6 months.

So sorry to have bought more of this towel - a couple years ago the quality was wonderful with thick tightly-woven fabric. Now they are loser and thinner, lower quality. They won’t last. What a disappointment. I had begun to count on Garnet Hill.

Big disappointment
Bought 3 sets of these towels in blue stripe. Gave one set to my son, kept two for me. Every single towel has been covered in blue lint since being washed. Can’t get rid of it, all sets have been washed twice. In addition 3 towels are already unraveling. Worst towels I ever bought. Too bad, very pretty and very nice weight, hence the 2 stars.

beautiful towels, but...
sadly, all eight towels I bought have snagged in the three months that we have been using them. My old 15 year old Garnet Hill towels are still going strong (no snags!), but they no longer match my decor.

BATH SHEET SEAM ALREADY UNRAVELING!
Beautiful substantial bath sheet, however the seam is already unraveling and fraying. I've only washed it twice. Not happy!

Colors “dissolve” almost immediately
I bought these towels in 4 different colors for my 4 kids who like their own towels. Within the first week, the aqua color was fading in big splotches. I now have a white wash cloth. Gray is now doing the same thing. So disappointed

color fades quickly, stains easily
I purchased these towels in the aqua color. Within a few washes (in warm water and regular detergent) they had faded significantly to a greenish beige color. As well as fading, they pick up odd discolorations or stains that can't be explained. Very disappointing and frustrating. I will be replacing these.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
OVER THE YEARS I HAVE BOUGHT DOZENS OF THESE TOWELS, IN ALL KINDS OF COLORS. THE SOLIDS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. SOFT; VERY PLUSH. THE ''DOTS'' ARE EQUALLY AS GREAT, EVEN AFTER YEARS OF USE ! THE STRIPE ONES ARE VERY NOT NEARLY AS NICE, ACTUALLY SOMEWHAT HARSH. YOU SHOULD RE-INSTATE THE DOTS ... BUT CALL ME FIRST FOR THE RIGHT COLORS !!!!!

One wash and they look like old rag
I just bought two of the navy striped towel and when they arrived I was happy as they are very cute. However, after one wash, the navy threads are balling up and the towels look like they are years old. Also, my 14yr old son won’t use them as he says they don’t dry him. Epic fail on every point. Going to see if they will let me return.

The bath towels immediately frayed / deteriorated after one wash - seams were never well sewed and came apart. I have bought various bath products and sheets from Garnett Hill for 15 years and have never received such a poorly made product.

Nice looking towels that have deteriorated quickly
These bath towels looked great when we first received them last February, but after successive washings they began to fray. It's not a year since they arrived, and they are now completely ragged. Disappointing and definitely not up to Garnet Hill standards!

Poor Quality
To say I'm disappointed is an understatement...these towels are falling apart after only a few washes. I've already returned one or two for an exchange...but nobody has time to keep doing that. I would not purchase these again.
