Why is Garnet Hill selling beds and bedroom furniture that comes with a health warning label - yikes! Lovely, but why not use healthy products for consumers and the environment???

Beautiful side table
This is a lovely side table. I purchased it in maple wood to go with the bed I have. Like the bed, this table is made very well! Love it ❤️

May 2023 wooden spindle bedside table
Table looks well made and sturdy. Matches my antique spindle bed perfectly. The problem is during shipping some damage occurred because of the way the table is packaged for shipping. A few scratches on corners of table as they poked out of shipping container bubble wrap during shipping. All that, I would recommend this table

Incredibly well made
This is a beautiful piece of furniture. It is incredibly well made and the details of the wood work are lovely. Far better than all the cheaply made pieces you find in every furniture store these days, that you pretty much pay the same prices for. It took quite a while for it to be made and shipped, but I purchased it with that expectation. My only complaint, and I hate to even take a star off for it, but my only dislike is that the "walnut" color stain used on this maple wood is significantly darker in person. So much so that I may not have purchased it had I known it would be so dark as it doesn't really match well with my current furniture (and that's the whole reason I bought it, right?!). I wanted it closer to a true walnut color. I did know it was maple and could see it may be a slight bit darker than true walnut, but this is so much more than that. This is nearly black. I would call it espresso and I would recommend changing the name of the color to reflect that. I'm attaching a photo of a small portion of the top placed next to a wood that is walnut so you can see the difference.

does not look finished
cute side table but much smaller than I expected. somewhere enroute it was dropped or something came damaged severely. also it arrived really late I understand it is handmade but something around 9 months maybe longer. In photo the natural table appears to have some type of lacquer or finish the table I received seemed unfinished. I guess to top it off the person in charge of assisting furniture returns didn't help with getting this damaged unfinished piece picked up soon enough as she said for me to send pics asap before her vacation which I had done immediately but few weeks later it was still in my apartment and she didn't seem to respond to me. I live in an apartment and it was hard to store it not having a garage. last time I purchase furnishings and having been a customer for over 20 years and purchasing many items this was a really frustrating experience that it isn't worth the frustration to me to attempt to buying large items from them.
