Is this pliable enough that I can use as a stair runner?
This rug is very pliable but also fairly thick. It has a 1 inch pile.

Just wondering if the rug is really 1" thick (high) as the description states. It looks chunky, but that would be very thick as compared to typical rugs.
We measured our sample and can confirm the rug is 1 inch thick.

Worth the 6 month wait!
Texture feels good underfoot. Shedding of jute when vacuumed but will probably lessen over time. Classic yet modern look.

Living the GARNET HILL life!
The PEBBLED WOOL & JUTE RUG is the answer. I love walking barefoot on this rug. It is like getting a little foot massage, as I walk over it. This rug just pulls this room together in such a happy and stylish way. As you can see from this picture, there are quite a few Garnet Hill Specials in this room, from the Garden stool, holding the urn of curly willow to the cherished Brahms Mount blanket, laid over the back of the seating . This room is so calming that it begs for me to sit, talk, reflect and enjoy my Garnet Hill lifestyle.

Exactly what I wanted!
I love this rug. The natural tan and cream colors of the wool and gold of the jute brighten my shady living room. And it's thick. Wonderful to walk on. I'm hoping it's as durable as it is attractive and comfortable. So far feeling that it's money well spent.

Fantastic rug runner
I bought 2 runners, in natural, for our home. They look wonderful against my hardwood floors and are very well constructed. The softness of the wool/jute fibers is durable yet complementary to bare feet! I’m impressed with the quality and would recommend with 5 stars. I have looked for over a year for the perfect rug runners…and these are definitely checking all the boxes!

This substantially manufactured rug is attractive in the visual as well as the tactile sense. It's a good looking, nicely thick area rug with a stimulating surface that feels lovely to one's bare feet.

FINALLY a rug I like!
This rug arrived today and I love it! I have tried at least 5 different styles/colors over time and although they were "fine" I always kept looking. This rug is thicker than expected with superior quality.

So soft
I bought this rug recently in the runner and love it so much more than I thought I would. Its incredibly soft and the thickness makes it super cozy. My dog loves to spread out on it and I can't see his dog hair!
If this gets made in a 9x12 , I will be the first to buy....

I love the knobby look and feel
I was most pleased with the large-size knots. I was afraid they'd be small but the knots are a good inch long lending a fabulous texture to the room. I placed this 3'x5' rug at the foot of my bed against a hardwood floor...fantastic! Just what I was hoping for. Additionally, the rug pad provides a luxurious feel to walk upon.

outstanding look, disappointing durability
This rug is everything I wanted it to be as far as the look. It’s unique while still being subtle. The mix of wool and jute is fabulous. I really love it! Unfortunately, the durability seems poor. I’ve had a fair number of places where the wool has pulled up out of the weaving. It is also surprisingly uncomfortable to walk on. All that said, I would buy it again due to how awesome it looks.

Beautiful neutral rug
I love almost everything about this rug. I am using this as an area rug in my living room. Beautiful neutral, soft under your feet.
My only reason for not giving this a 5 star is the rug sheds. If I knew this I might have chosen another material— for that reason alone.

Poor durability
So disappointed in this rug. It looks great on our hardwood floor, but it is still shedding after being regularly vacuumed. Each week I have to empty my Dyson canister after only cleaning this rug. It has pulls all over it- looks like a badly pilling sweater. And it is stained and worn down where we walk the most - and we’ve only had it for a few months. It needs to be replaced.
