Comfy sofa protector
When not in use, I fold blanket over back of sofa. When in use, I unfold it to protect/cover sofa while watching TV and it's a light and comfortable layer, when needed. I thought the blanket was a bit expensive, even on sale, though.

Great blanket, color not so much
The blanket kept us warm as the weather grew cooler. I expect that it will continue to be a warm addition to our bedding throughout the winter. I like the stitching general appearance. However, I was disappointed in the color. The blue is not as pretty as pictured--it is really more of a dull blue-gray. Also, the price was a bit high for the quality.

Very similar to Dream Quilt
The blanket is amazingly similar in appearance and weight to the Dream Quilt which I already had. I kept the blanket but be aware of the similarities if you use them on the same bed. I recommend waiting until it is on sale or there is a free shipping option as the cost for bedding can add up quickly. Nice quality, but I haven't washed it yet!

Perfect for layering
I bought this blanket a few weeks ago and really like it. I washed it and it came out perfect. It’s just the right size for our king and we like the crinkly look. I gave it 4 stars instead of five because I thought it would be softer to the touch. It’s fine but not as soft and airy as I was expecting based on the description. We layer it between a cotton blanket and the sheets so it’s fine. Just the right amount of warmth for summer a/c.

Just ok
Usually quality is not a problem with Garnet Hill, but this blanket is just not up to par. The fabric is flimsy. It just stretches all over the bed. I washed it so I can’t return it, but I wish I could.

Mediocre purchase for the price
This is a nice blanket but expensive for what you get (and I even got it on sale). It's soft and has an old-fashioned look to it. Beware: The product title, with the phrase "and Throw," makes it sound like you get the throw with the purchase of the blanket. But no-read the fine print--the throw is a separate purchase.

Love color ochre, but not soft
First, the color is great--not bright or too muted. However, for a king, it is quite large and drapes on the floor (most kings do not, despite our queen mattress). Also, description said this was soft and it is not, even after a few washes. The weight is good, and I like that it's natural cotton. But I'm exchanging it.

Great Quality, Too Big
I bought this blanket to use on our king-sized bed after buying two other duvets that were too hot. This one is a great weight and really nice quality. However, it basically drags the floor on both sides and that is not the aesthetic I was going for - I wish it was narrower to show off our wood bed rails, the way the duvets did. The measurement on my blanket is 6 inches wider and 6 inches longer than advertised.

Wanted to like this blanket but didn't!
I ordered this blanket in the rust color. I liked that it's made from organic cotton, and understood that it has a stonewashed/distressed appearance, but when it arrived my immediate thought was that it looked like the blankets movers use in the back of trucks to protect furniture. Out of the package it looked to me like an old blanket, not worth its price.

Why aren't fabric samples available?
This is a nicely made blanket and a good weight. Unfortunately the Oatmeal color is darker and more grey/brown than the photo shows. Also, the weave is not as tight as it appeared and would not hold up to cat claws. I returned the blanket. Since I was charged for shipping both ways, it was a costly disappointment. Fabric samples are needed!

Lovely but too light
We like a really cool bedroom. The Ida was beautiful, but too light for the temperature. Would be great as a casual throw. I exchanged it for Cotton Fleece, which is cuddly and surprisingly dense and comfy, just perfect.

Lovely but...
I want to give this blanket 5 stars. The dusty plum color is perfect. The texture is what I wanted, but it came out of the package with at least two small pulls that cannot be helped back into the blanket. Using as a light weight blanket and that fits the bill. Had considered buying a smaller size to use at foot of bed, but think I will wait and see how this one wears with washings.

Really pretty, but..
It’s pretty, it’s soft, it’s light-weight, but it is also slightly stretchy, causing it to cling-to rather than lay-on. Even though this is an issue for me, I am keeping it because it looks nice and will be used.

Summer blanket
I went back and forth on return/exchange on this item! One wash and on the bed and it has a small hole in it, which I’m not happy about. The blue color is not a sophisticated Smokey as pictured in the site- it’s straight up a bright baby blue color which I don’t love in my master bedroom. The weight and feel alongside a top sheet is good for my husband who sleeps hot but for myself I feel it is not warm enough and I wish it was a bit weightier. I will have to layer it just on my side of the bed. I do like the size of the king blanket. Was a bit disappointed with conflicting customer service over email vs phone. I was first told I didn’t need to basically purchase a second blanket to make the exchange, then I was told the opposite. Still not satisfied, might call back again.

Kind of sad
This throw is soft and has a gauzy layer quality that I thought I would love, but it is so sad looking that I am considering donating it. I just don't like putting it out in my living room. :(
I bought it in the rust color so maybe that has something to do with it. The actual quality and construction are fine, good even, it's just not the blanket you cozy up with.

Can't compete
I bought this to replace my worn Eileen Fisher gauze blanket which has been perfect for summer into late fall in Arizona. This blanket is very nice but not really light weight enough. I have not washed it yet. That might help. It spends most of the night a the foot of the bed, just too heavy.

I should have read the reviews before buying. But first of all the description of the item make it sound like it comes with a Throw, It does not! I got one item! And second, the based on the description and pictures, it sold as a blanket, so i was expecting some thickness. This is nothing more that a large flimsy sheet.

It is very lightweight as described by others. Cute, but not the size in the description. I bought it as a blanket that could double as a “bedspread” to eliminate more layers on the bed and easier makeup. I have a queen bed. The blanket is much larger than measurements listed. It nearly touches the floor in the back and hangs way down on both sides. It looks very sloppy. Disappointed!

Disappointed-My mistake!
This is a very light weight throw that may suit your needs well. It looks identical to
a GH throw (Plush Throw) that I purchased a few months ago from GH for the same price
but they are of very different quality... not quilted, thinner and not worth the price. I liked the Plush Throw so much that I came back to order another one. My mistake- I ordered the wrong one, the Stonewashed Organic which is far inferior to the one I wanted for the same price.. Still deciding if I want to pay to return it.

Stone-washed organic blanket BUT no throw
I love the organic cotton blanket but it was shipped to me without the throw they stated was included with my order. I’m very disappointed as I only bought because it was paired with a throw!
