Lovely and Warm
Purchased the canyon clay and wheat gold. Soft colors and lovely fabric. Nice complement to other GH bedding. The first package contained a returned, washed and soiled quilt which was upsetting. GH made it right and its customer service is the best.

Great Colors
I bought two of these quilts - one for full size bed and one for queen size bed. The quilts are both oversized for the beds. If you like an oversized, hitting the floor look, these are for you. I'm also surprised by how thin these quilts are.

Lovely quilt, but flawed.
This is a beautiful quilt of just the weight I wanted. But many of the threads in the decorative stitching are broken, and come loose easily. I considered returning it, but decided not to.

Size is too small
Attractive, lightweight quilt but it's too small. My bed is not even as big as a standard double bed but this quilt (in a double/queen size) is too small!

Beautiful print, soft feel, but...
I've had this quilt and pillow shams for over a year now. My one reluctant comment is that the large "stitches" on the quilt easily snag, so there are all these loose threads all over the shams. This bed gets minimal use as it's on our guest bed. I thought maybe after washing, that maybe the threads would retract, so to speak, but it's still unsightly and a seam is coming undone. Sadly, I wouldn't buy these again because of this experience. If these kind of things bug you, keep looking for a quilt with smaller, tighter stitches.

Great fabric, poor over stitching
When I received the quilt and shams and I was very pleased with the weight and quality of the fabric, the zippers on the continental shams were a nice upgrade but the over stitching— I don’t think it was even functional quilting—was weak and cheaply done with knots on the outside of the pieces and thread that would break if you snagged it or even picked up a stuffed pillow sham. Unfortunately I decided to return it instead of regret it. I’m not sure that stitching adds a thing to the product. And I had to pay shipping both ways

Pretty but disappointed
When I saw this in the catalog, I wanted it immediately and fortunately I had a 25 percent coupon. Because my home was under renovations and I had a delayed delivery on a mattress, I didn't put it on my bed until a number weeks after ordering. When I did, I noticed a brown stain on the side of the quilt. I have tried to get it out to no avail. Makes me feel like this was a return and like the quilt was dirty. It is very pretty, but beware - the stitching gets caught on things easily so there are already a number of pulls on it despite only being on my bed for a week. Will keep because I feel like it is too late to send back and I do like the color/style for warmer weather, but still bothered by the stain. Icky.

I actually love this quilt—it’s attractive and lightweight—good for three seasons. What disappoints me is that the striped border fabric shrank during washing (and I did follow card instructions) and the edges do not lay flat anymore. It was not inexpensive and poor quality fabric shouldn’t be a thing.

Great design, less than great fabric
I received this quilt a couple of weeks ago. The design is inventive yet inobtrusive, and the hand is delicate and soft. The reverse pattern is delightful, and the color is soothing to the eye. However, the folding of the quilt so that it fit into the packaging left creases in the fabric that may or may not be permanent. I’m hoping for the former, but I’m not convinced this material will hold up to the wear and tear of daily use.

Beautiful but loose stitching
I'm glad I got this for half off. It's just as beautiful as pictured, but the pick stitching in the body of the quilt is extremely loose, which makes it delicate. I'm using it with a protective bedspread because as soon as it snags, I'll be snipping loose threads forever. I'm afraid to wash it.

Fragile stitching, disappointed
I haven't used this quilt very long, and we are very gentle on our home goods. However, this quilt has become covered by broken threads which were used to tie the quilt layers together. It's a whole cloth quilt, so it's not going to fall apart. But it does have almost a fur of broken quilting threads all over. (Knots too. Many knots).Not what I expected at this price point and will make me think quite a bit before making another garnet hill purchase.

I have never ordered from Garnet Hill before I purchased this quilt. It’s a pretty design, lightweight like I wanted but it has this white stitching all through it. The stitching is extremely flimsy. All the stitching is breaking all over the quilt. You are left with pieces of stitching poking up everywhere. I expected better quality from what seems to be a high end company.

The colors are FANTASTIC, and true to image
Finishing and perfect touch for the main bedroom. I am so disappointed that the threads pop and break when there is the slightest tension on the fabric. I made the bed, and pulled one side down and heard 'pops', while sleeping, and pulling the covers that my husband stole, I heard 'pops'. I investigated and yes, the quilting threads are breaking. That's my disappointment. This is a GREAT piece except for that quality issue. I inquired about the breaking threads, and CS said there was no history. I will keep it, because the color is great. I am disappointed by the amount I paid for this quilt. I did purchase with 25% off, still think it is over priced for the quality. :-( first disappointment with Garnet Hill.

Stitching ripped within 5 days
This quilt looks and feels lovely, but the stitching is so thin, my immediate thought upon pulling it out of the package was that it would rip easily. Unfortunately the stitching of a 3" x 3" section came out within 5 days. Once the stitching rips, the quilt starts to look more like a duvet as opposed to a quilt. Disappointing, in particular since it is otherwise nice.

Color Me Bad
I was so looking forward to receiving my quilt and shams. I honestly thought the wrong items had been shipped when I opened the box. I thought I was getting more of an aqua blue but this is a completely different color. Nice bedding but not what I wanted.

I ordered this quilt in the Birch design and I love the fabric’s pattern on both sides. The material is a great weight on its own or layered. Right out of the package the quilt is covered in pills and the delicate stitching

Love the pattern but...
I have mixed feelings about the quilt and shams. First, one of the sham's zippers was sewn inside out. The pull part of the zipper is difficult to close and cannot be closed completely. I am told that it is on backorder until August, at which time they will send me a new one and that I will need to send the defective one back. I was told nonchalantly that defects happen. In my opinion, I spent far too much $ for the set to be told defects
happen. Can you say quality control?
Next, my quilt has all these tiny little white fuzzies or pills and many loose threads as well. Lastly, there are 2 to 3 areas that are lumpy. In other words the quilting is bunched up. I haven't yet
washed it; it came that way.
In conclusion, I am not sure the beautiful pattern is enough compared with all of the flaws and defects.

I have been purchasing quilts from Garnet Hill for decades, and still use them all BUT this one already has many broken threads and I've only had it for 3 months. I'm afraid to wash it! Very surprising from this company!

Faded Red Color is NOT RED! and Stinks
The Faded Red color is NOT RED and the quilt has a harsh perfume odor. The color is a rusty brown color and the chemical perfume smell is very strong.

Partail Order/ Matching pieces unavailable
The quilt is great, however when it says pillow shams are back ordered a more accurate description would be unavailable. Now I have a quilt without the matching shams, I do not think I would order from Garnet Hill again. I have liked the quality in the past but feel this was wrong. If its unavailable (3 months so far and still have not heard anything) say so.

Poor Quality. Very Disappointed.
I ordered this quilt in Birch and while the pattern and color are just what I was looking for, the quality is extremely poor. As soon as I removed it from the packaging, I noticed the fabric was already pilled. I'm not sure if this quilt was previously used and returned or if the fabric is such poor quality that it pilled before it even made it out of the factory. Either way, I am extremely disappointed since I am being charged a return shipping fee to return a defective item. I will think twice before ordering from Garnet Hill in the future.
