They both have the crisp feel of percale but this sheet has been washed for a softer, more relaxed look. They have differing thread counts and one is 100% supima cotton while the other is 100% organic cotton percale.

Great sheets
The sheet material is a perfect weight and texture. The sheets are large enough for my queen bed. The flat sheet is roomy enough so that when my husband and I turn over, we still have plenty of sheet covering us.

Smooth and Comfortable!
I purchased these sheets in the straw gold color (stripes and floral combo) and they were so smooth and comfortable that I bought another set in faded red paisley and stripe two weeks later. They wash beautifully. I will get the blue set next!

Nice quality and great selection of patterns
It was refreshing to finally find a store that sells bed sheet sets with a wide variety of sophisticated patterns. The market seems so inundated with gray solid sheets which I find uninspiring. The sheet fabric is soft but also has a crisp quality. I'm very happy with my purchase and plan on buying another set.

Beautiful Pillowcases

I bought a king fitted sheet in the stripe putty for use on a poofy featherbed and am very happy with it. I purposely did not want a deep fitted sheet, so the 15" inch fit worked really well. The sheets are soft and comfortable and I like the pattern and color. I think they look like higher quality/feel like higher thread count they are. And it worked awesome to use around the down feather bed - and so much easier to fluff this way than using a deep sheet to cover everything!

No sweat!
My husband was far too hot sleeping on a sateen sheet, so we tried this king sized organic cotton fitted sheet. It has made a huge difference in our comfort. It's smooth, it's pretty, and it breathes. Oh, and it washes like a dream, too. This kind of sheet is getting hard to find. Good job, Garnet Hill!

Beautiful, comfortable sheets
I recently bought the Straw Gold Floral sheet set. It's a lovely pattern, delicate and interesting, a little reminiscent of Eastern European folk embroidery patterns (stylized, symmetrical). Another reviewer noted that the "straw gold" is actually a greenish yellow -- I agree. It's a pale greenish yellow or even a yellowish green background with a crisp white pattern. I like it a lot but if you want a deep golden yellow, this is not it. The sheets have a very nice crisp hand, soft but crisp like I expect percale to be. We slept on them during a recent spell of hot weather and they were cooler than the cotton/linen sheets we'd been using. Like another reviewer, I noticed a strong chemical smell when I took them out of the packaging, but this went away with the first wash. I also agree with reviewers who noted they came out of the dryer a bit wrinkled. I'd say "rumpled" and I think it looks fine once the bed is made, but the edges in particular were pretty crinkly, so if that would bother you it's just something to consider. All in all, I really like these sheets, especially the pattern. Coming back to write this review I noticed there's a new dark red background color offered, and now I'm sorely tempted. Ha!

Really nice sheets
I'm very happy with these sheets. They are crisp and soft and very substantial. Wrinkling is minimal. Cute paisley print, too. We have a basic tempurpedic mattress that's only about 10" thick. It is so hard to find fitted sheets that aren't constantly baggy, but this one actually fits pretty good. I opted to get the top sheet in a double size so it wouldn't hang down too far on the sides. These sheets wash up nicely and go right back on the bed. I'll be ordering another set of these once I figure out which pattern or solid color I want.

Perfect
I despise sateen. I don't understand how it is considered "luxuriant" as to me it feels cheap. I searched high and low for the perfect sheets and pillowcases, and these are them. They are softening up beautifully after about a month of use. Will buy more, please don't change the way these are made.

Worth the Wait
I bought the blue floral and blue striped sheets knowing they were on backorder. So glad I did. Every Garnet Hill bedding I own always washes and last perfectly. These percale sheets are no exception! I mixed the prints and am so happy with them! Peaceful and calming in my bedroom.

I just love this print!
I bought the comforter cover last June in the gold floral. They were out of queen sheets and cases at the time so I did not order them. I recently tried to purchase them again on sale but they were backordered. I bought them this time and can't wait to get them!
