I like your supima percale sheets - are these the same?
They both have the crisp feel of percale but this sheet has been washed for a softer, more relaxed look. They have differing thread counts and one is 100% supima cotton while the other is 100% organic cotton percale.

Very nice sheets
Bought these in the Spring, have used several times. They were a little stiff in the beginning, but after multiple washing they are lovely. The pattern is nice too. Only negative for me is that they do need some ironing

Crunchy but will get softer
I washed these twice before using, as I could tell they were crunchy and potentially scratchy. Not too bad now, took a night of getting used to the different feel; will be better after a 3rd and 4th wash. I generally like more old fashioned crunchy cotton vs sateen; Perhaps there is a lot of "finish".

Disappointed in Color
I bought the floral and the paisley, both in gold; and the color is muted, more beige-brown than gold. I still give the sheets 4 stars because of the quality of the fabric/texture.

matching problem
Love the sheets. Unfortunately, I misunderstood the comment that the siesta patterns and solids could be mixed and matched to mean that the Straw Solids would match the Patterned Straw Gold sheets- unfortunately they really don't and I am trying to decide whether to spend another $50 to order two more pillow cases that match.

Nice colors and pattern
I am afraid that in my 60’s I have become a sheet snob. I am keeping the comforter cover- but returning the bottom sheet and pillow cases which feel a bit too coarse for me.

Nice quality but beware of color differences
I purchased the sky blue stripe fitted and flat sheets and a pair of sky blue stripe standard pillowcases. I also purchased a pair of the sky blue floral pillowcases as a complement to the stripes (as shown in gold in one of the pictures.) Unfortunately, the sky blues are different shades of blue that don't go together. The photos don't represent what you're getting -- which is not GH's fault. Every computer monitor displays color differently. However, it would be helpful if GH would name the blue floral pattern something other than "sky blue" to avoid confusion. Other than that, the construction is very nice and the cotton feels good.

Super soft

Fabric Issues
Fortunately, the strong fabric odor dissipated after laundering once. I wasn't sure whether to keep them or return them. Now that they're on the bed, I'm finding the fabric dense and somewhat heavier than expected. It sure makes for a very warm bed, perfect for winter but a no-go during summer. The dark apple color adds a nice autumn touch.

Love the Design
I liked the pattern and shade of blue on this. Unfortunately, the color of the pattern is more subtle than expected. This finishing at top, as well as the feel of the fabric, is not the quality I expected. I am keeping them because of the coordination with other bedding, and artwork in the room.

Lacks a Crisp Finish
The fabric is coarse. Once you wash it it is very wrinkled so does not give a nice appearance on the bed. It is OK to sleep on but doesn't have that smooth, comfortable feel.

Disappointed
I love a striped sheet, so I was sold when I saw green was a color option. The look is good; however, the fit is questionable. Despite being labeled "Double," the sheets fit like Queen. Also, is this a new kind of percale? I have other Garnet Hill percale sheets that are smoother.

color off
Just received the duvet cover in Straw Gold and it’s a different color from the one pictured entirely. It is somewhere between yellow and green, and paler than the pictures here. We were counting on a warm sunny yellow, so that is a bit disappointing. Nevertheless the color is pleasant enough and we don’t have time for returns and exchanges (kid is going off to college with these), so we’ll keep it. The other side of the duvet cover is white with stripes, and oddly enough on this side the color of the stripes is a warm ocher yellow! I really wish GH paid more attention to the accuracy of their colors in pictures - color is important!

Yellow doesn’t match
Do not get the floral yellow thinking it will match the yellow stripe. Not even close. The floral is really green, not at all like the picture. Not happy.
Then I received the tan stripe first to go with my fitted floral, then I called and got the floral. Customer Service is wonderful, but not listening, and had the stripe tan tagged wrong in shipping area.
I really wanted yellows in my bedroom, and I am unhappy.
Plus if you think you are getting soft sheets, they are not. And with a few months of washing’s they have not softened yet. They are well made sheets, just don’t put colors together that don’t match!

Nice sheets, but not for deep mattresses.
I like the sheets, but they are not as soft as other Garnet Hill cottons. However, I do think that they will soften with few washes. The more disappointing aspect is that they slip off the corners nearly every night.

Beautiful sheets, but they’re too short
The quality of the sheets is excellent, but they’re too short. Most mattresses are thick theses days, so the manufacturer has realized that by making the sheets quite wide, but the length is still too short. There’s barely enough sheet left to tuck in at the bottom after leaving about 8 inches to turn over at the top.

Wrinkles!
Bought the yellow strip sheets and love the look but these are incredibly high maintenance. Incredible wrinkles. Laundered exactly as tag states - super disappointed ironing is a must

Great fit but a problem for sensitive skin
Pro: the fitted sheet fits my deep mattress perfectly. Con: 1) Something in the sheets causes my skin to itch terribly, I've washed them in hot water three times now and it seems to be easing up so I think it is the fabric dye that is the problem; that alone would keep me from ordering these sheets again, I have previously ordered sheets from Garnet Hill and have not had the same problem with them. 2) I ordered the fitted sheet in the stripe, color Straw, and the flat sheet and pillow cased in the floral, also in color Straw; the colors do not match, they're not even close. The stripe is the color I expected, the floral has a distinctly green cast to it. 3) For percale sheets I expected a smooth surface, these sheets are rough.

Doesn't feel like percale
I am a long time buyer of Garnet Hill bedding and read through other reviews before deciding to go ahead with purchasing these sheets. I love the flower print and the sheets fit better than any other sheets I've bought in years from GH (fitted sheet was not too big or too small and flat sheet was generously cut so could tuck in on sides). That being said the fabric is not the soft cool percale I expected, and which other reviewers had warned. It is hot and feels rough to the skin, not rough like sandpaper, but coarse and rough for a fabric to put your face up against and sleep next to. If I can return them and exchange them for something else I will.

Nice fabric but color misrepresented
Big fan of percale and these deliver for crispness. I was disappointed when floral straw arrived and color was not as pictured, tone and brightness were off by a lot. As I only got pillowcases I didn't return but will not buy the sheet set as originally planned.

I'm 74. I've slept on percale sheets for nearly all of my life as I live in South Texas where it is too hot for high thread-count sheets. I loved the pattern on these and felt that buying from Garnet Hill would ensure a quality product. I was mistaken. The sheets are quite thin. Even though I have washed them twice now, they are still somewhat scratchy. I am used to percale being wrinkled, but these sheets get so wrinkled that you can hardly fold them. The edges bunch up into a tight wad that I actually had to iron (!) so I could actually fold them. If you don't fold your sheets, that wouldn't be a problem for you.

Review on straw yellow color
I’ve just laundered the sheets and expect that they will hold up beautifully as all my GH sheets do.
The straw yellow color is not consistent between the floral and stripe pattern. We bought a floral fitted sheet and pair of pillow cases; and a stripe top sheet and pair of pillow cases. I was excited for the variation of pattern. The floral is more pea green yellow and the stripe is more of a butter yellow.
I wanted to share this in case anyone else want to mix the patterns.

Very disappointed
I am a long time Garnet Hill bedding buyer/lover. I opened these sheets to find stiff poorly made sheets. They are made in India. Most of our past bedding all came from Portugal. The percale from Portugal is wonderful. These sheets are below the past standards of Garnet HIll. Will be returning.

not cool and crisp
I bought this sheet set a month ago and have washed them several times. They are very soft. I was looking for the cool, crisp finish of a percale sheet. Unfortunately, this is not it. I have ordered, and absolutely love, the Mums Hemstitched Supima® Percale Bedding. I was looking for the same feel in a different color and design. I would recommend those if you're looking for the cool and crisp feel. These sheets are soft and look great but hot at night - the opposite from what I was hoping for.

Elastic doesn't last
I love these sheets, the fabric is so inviting, and wears well with time. What doesn't wear well with time is the elastic around the edges. The elastic is now completely spent, and i'm left with getting out my sewing machine to add new elastic (who does that now?), continually pulling down my sheets every night (grrrr), or ordering new sheets! I would guess i'm pulling out my sewing machine, knowing me. But what a pain!
