Really lovely
I ordered two white blankets to choose between, for my guest room bed for summer.
I'm going to keep the other one because it's heavier, but it's killing me to send this back. It's really beautiful and I would love to sleep under it.
It's very light, would make an excellent throw for just a little extra warmth.

beautiful summer weight blanket
I bought this blanket in white. It washed very well. The blanket has a soft and inviting look. excellent quality. It's not as heavy as it looks and will be best used for summer. I'm ordering a second for another bedroom.

Lightweight blanket
I was expecting a blanket of heavier weight but after a couple of weeks of use, it is keeping us warm. I will probably order a second for the coldest of winter nights. The only complaint I have is regarding the loose weave. Easily overcome the problem of my wedding rings catching on the blanket when making the bed: I just take them off.

Overall very nice!
I am happy with the weight of the blanket as it is the lightest weight I could find for a warm climate. I took one star off because the one I received had an unravelled spot in the weaving for which I didn't want the hassle of exchanging. That does make me worry somewhat about the durability. Quite soft as blankets go.

Isa vs. Chunky Waffle-Weave
We already had the Isa Stone-Washed blanket in king size (108-90) and liked it but it shrank significantly and is no longer long enough and barely wide enough. It does stretch some. I washed it in cold water and a heat dryer. The Chunky Waffle-Weave blanket (108x96) is lighter and stretches and stretches to the point that I will wash it in hot water and put it in a hot dryer. I wanted the additional size but it’s too bad the Isa doesn’t come in the same dimensions as the Waffle-Weave. Both though are nice blankets.

Shrinkage
This item is made of organic cotton and will shrink when washed. Fortunately, it is made large enough to accommodate shrinking. I have a double bed and the F/Q hung almost to the floor when it arrived. After the first wash (yes, hot water, full heat in the dryer), it is almost up to the side rails. It will probably shrink more in the next couple of washes, but will —from past experience with GH’s organic cotton products — probably stop shrinking and still cover the bed with room to spare. I bought the ‘birch’ color and am liking it.

Just Perfect!
I was looking for a fairly light cotton blanket that would not develop snags as often as some do - so far, so good! And, even after washing and drying, this completely covers our king-size bed. Ours is the coral color which goes well with our bed quilt. Only thing I would improve is to add a slightly sturdier bias cut binding - this one is a bit wrinkly.

Just what we wanted!
Soft, well made, ideal color, right thickness. As Goldilocks would have wanted, this Waffle-Weave Blanket was just right! It's a bit more pricey than I would have wished, but knowing the quality, I'm sure it will give us years of warmth and comfort.

soft and a nice weight for summer
My only problem with this blanket is the size. I use it on a double bed, and because it is square, the length is proportional to the length of the bed, but it hangs down on the sides almost to the floor. It has a nice drape, a soft, fresh feel and is light.

Classy blanket
The blanket is new! I washed it - no problem except the binding is a little wrinkled - comes from stretching too much during application. Mildly annoyed that at this price point I expect it to be perfect.
I love the look! Especially paired with the linen sheets I bought last year from GH.
The blanket is light, fluffy and the right weight for me. I’ll see how it wears with dogs before buying the second one.

Beautiful, but not with cats in the house
This was a lovely blanket and the color was deep and rich. I didn’t notice the loose threads as part of the intended weave, way too easy for my cats to grab and pull so sadly I had to return

Lightweight and soft
I bought this a few months ago as a lightweight blanket for summer. It's much lighter than the photos indicate. It's more like a sheet with some raised waffling if that makes sense. I've never liked flat sheets on my bed but I like this blanket because of the soft cotton and waffling. It also looks decent by itself on the bed for summer and doesn't shed like my old cotton blanket. I do think it's quite pricy for what it is and I worry a little about wear but so far, so good.

The rim of the blanket leaves a lot to be desired
Not impressed with the edges of this blanket. What ever the material is used to bind it was stuck together and irregular in shape. Once I washed it as instructed I had to iron all 4 edges to smooth them down so that it looked presentable. The length and width of the blanket are great. I feel the cost of this blanket is way to high for the quality. I have never seen blanket edges done so poorly.

White waffle weave blanket
not what you would expect for such a high price. Not in everyday use and already has pulls/snags. Thin material. Very disappointed. Have another waffle weave from TJ's for half the price and much better quality (TB) Having said that, I have the sunflower percale sheets (which I Love but wrinkle like crazy) with this blanket and my guests have stated that they slept like a baby. So the weight of the blanket is good for muggy New England nights.

Jarring pattern
I'm sorry I bought this. I washed it immediately and when Ii put it on the twin bed in the guest room, I was surprised to see how jarring the waffle weave pattern is. To me, it isn't a pleasant and restful sight. Too bad, I doubt if I can return it now.

Quality issues
I received my blanket and loved the color and texture. I washed it prior to putting it on my bed and it came apart….I’ll be sending it back. I’ve ordered from GH numerous times and have always loved the quality of their linens so this outcome was a big surprise to me.

Not a good purchase.
I'm disappointed that GH sent this blanket to anyone. It's been washed and returned. The edges and label has clearly been immersed in water, and the wrinkles were much for wrinkled and crumpled than the picture. The blanket is also scratchy. Back it goes.

This arrived wrinkled and shabby looking, not like the photo. It would have required a lot of ironing to look presentable and seemed like it would be too hard to keep looking nice after washing. I returned it.

Disappointed!
