What is the weight of the New Cozy Organic Cotton Flannel bedding?
It looks like they’re both 5.4 oz per square yard! I’ve heard that closer to 5oz is better for year round and 6oz+ is best for cold

What is the weight of the organic - cotton flannel bedding? The organic-cotton flannel fitted queen sheet & the paintbrush flannel fitted sheet are the same size, but the pocket depths are listed as 15" and 12". How can this be?
is the double size same as full size? and how deep is the pocket for full size fitted sheet please. thank you
We don't have cold winters, but I like flannel sheets. Can you please tell me between the Paintbrush and the Cozy Organic flannel sheets, which is the lighter weight? Thanks.
My tempurpedic mattress is 11 inches thick. All fitted sheets I’ve found/bought fit mattress up to 16 inches and they will not stay on my bed. What do you have for my queen size mattress

Expected better quality.
I bought these about a month ago. I was impressed with the thickness and softness of the sheets. The fitted sheet was very generous and fit my deep mattress well. The drop on the flat sheet was generous as well. They were also very cozy. The price was good for organic cotton sheets. However, I was surprised and disappointed that after the first washing there was some pilling. I had to use my defuzzer to get rid of the pilling. They also appeared more worn than expected after just one washing. I'm concerned that after more washings I may no longer want to use them. I followed the washing instructions on the tags. I have cheaper, non-organic flannel sheets that have held up better. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the quality. I expected better. I shop at Garnet Hill because I like the quality of their merchandise.

Thin and Not Very Flannel Like
Not made for cold climates and it’s not even that cold here in Oregon! These sheets are very thin, not much softer than a standard cotton sheet, and have an almost scratchy texture to them. This was after washing, too. If you’re looking for warm, soft, thick flannel, these are not what you want. Returning. Gave an extra star for the quality color of the fabric.

Pillow cases have been shortened by at least 3"
This is my second purchase of flannel sheets from Garnet Hill to replace ones that are over 10-15 years old. Because the length of the standard pillow case has been shortened by at least 3", I can now see my pillow inside the case because there is no drape to hide it. Disappointing.

Poor quality flannel
These fit the bed beautifully and were so soft out of the package. Unfortunately they pilled terribly. They also shed all over the place while sleeping on them. I tried using a defuzzer but the pilling only got worse with washing. Don't recommend.

Organic cotton flannel sheet
Loved that it was organic and a good color, sage green. However, it is as thin as my old sheets have become over a couple of years and was not particularly cozy. I have had cozy flannel sheets and am disappointed.

Shrinkage
Washed once a week since arrival on cold with medium dry (took forever on low dry setting). The fitted sheet no longer tucks in well on the sides.

Very disappointing quality
I thought I was purchasing quality flannel sheets, however, they pilled after one washing. They look old and used after only one use.

Color not even close to color shown
The "Laurel Green" sheets I bought are a much darker shade than shown online. Very disappointing. Quality seems okay but a little stiff and sheets feel more like brushed cotton than flannel. Would return if return cost wasn't so high.

Love the colors but....
I was thrilled when I saw the Amber color as it would work perfectly with our comforter set. About broke my fingers ordering it so fast! When it came, I still loved the color, but was very disappointed in the sheets. They are soft and don't have a brushed nap like normal high-quality flannel. They are stiff and just sorta-soft. Again, I like the color so much, that I decided to keep them and thought they might soften up in the wash using a good fabric softener and a mild detergent (Woolite). They did not and, while we use them, my husband and I certainly aren't in love.

Love the yummy colors BUT...
So this flannel pills. Nothing at all like the OG flannel that Garnet sells and I have been buying and loving for years. We use these sheets in our camper and have slept in them about 8 total days over 2 weeks. 4 washes in a fancy-schmancy front loader with zero fabric softener and only using a mild soap (7th generation unscented detergent). Bought 3 sets of these sheets and am so very bummed :-(
Don’t be seduced by the colors! I recommend the signature flannel no question.

Not really flannel
It's nice that the cotton is organic. But the flannel aspect was disappointing. Nothing like real soft fuzzy flannel. I returned this and purchased the Signature Flannel instead.

Standard size ia HUGE
I ordered standard size flannel pillow cases, but they were HUGE.l Either standard has gotten bigger, or I was sent king size instead. The color was nice, and the flannel felt comfy. But I could easily fit my cat into one of those cases -- with room to spare!

Better than the GH Signature Flannel but ...
I returned a set of the Signature Flannel sheets and reordered these. I will keep them because they are needed. The quality is just okay. After a wash the fitted sheet feels a bit rough, not soft and smooth like another brand I have had for years. Also, I noticed a good bit of pilling. Not as bad as the Signature Flannel but more than other flannel sheets I have.

Terrible quality!
I bought these sheets long before the winter months as an anniversary present for my husband. Now that we’ve used them, they’re a total disappointment. First off, before I even made the purchase, I called customer service to ask if the Organic Cotton Flannel pillowcases have envelope closures, which I was looking for but didn’t see clearly listed one way or the other in the online description. I was told “Yes, they do”. Upon receipt, this was absolutely not true. Fine. Not pleased, but we can live with that.
After only one week of use and the second wash cycle, (washed before first use), the sheets are totally pilled!! It feels like sleeping on tiny bits of grit. I really expected more from Garnet Hill, especially at such a high price point. I’ve gotten better flannel sheets for $40 at Target! Buyer beware!

Massive amounts of lint, plus fading
I washed the Deep Teal fitted sheet and cases four times. Each time, a massive amount of lint, thread, and clumps of fiber came off, clogging my clothes dryer. The sheets look faded and old now, after only four washes (and no use on a bed), and are still shedding lint at an alarming rate. Further, the color is now nothing like the beautiful teal shown in the photos. These sheets are NOT the quality I expect from GH, having bought nothing but GH flannel for years. Returned immediately.

Pay the extra $'s and get Supima...
Supima flannels have been a staple in our house. I was getting a set for a little used twin bed in the house and saw that these "cozy" sheets were a tad less expensive. Well, upon opening the package I could see they weren't soft but went ahead and put them on the bed. I even walked away...then I couldn't take the image of "burlap" that was in my head and recognized I wouldn't want to sleep on them. So, I repackaged them and back they are going.

Disappointed
I've purchased all my flannel sheets from Garnet Hill for years and been quite happy, however, these were a disappointment. First of all the white is not a true white it is cream colored which makes a big difference when the rest rest of my bedding is bright white. Also, as others have stated they are not soft but stiff and rough. I've washed them several times and even used fabric softener and nothing helps.

Warning!
I love quality flannel, so I buy my sheets from Garnet Hill or L.L.Bean. I went with Garnet Hill this time because the flannel sheets I bought here 10 years ago, still look and feel amazing (the elastic gave out on bottom sheet). These were purchased for my Step-daughters bed. She is away at college so they not uses or washed often. I bought them in November and have probably been washed about 10 times. They look horrible, have pilled a lot, and overall look ratty. I am very disappointed. This is the first time I have written a negative review of any kind. They look as bad a a cheap set of flannel bought at Costco (the purchase that led me to swear off cheap sheets).

Quality
I have purchased linen from Garnet Hill several times and was always impressed with the high quality.
Those sheets are far from those we still have. They started peeling after a few days. Not what I expected at all. Fabric is quite thin compared to our older ones. Colors are not great either, especially the blue one which looks faded.

Do not buy
I would give them zero stars if I could. These sheets do not even last a year. I am so disappointed in them. They are thin and have pills everywhere. The elastic is starting to fail. They seemed amazing at first, but seriously they do not last. Don’t buy, not worth the money!!

Not cozy
This set was returned. So disappointed. Prewashed as I would for any new bedding. Washing did not improve them. Hard and stiff. Not cozy at all. I have other flannel sheets and these were nothing like what I expected.

Pilling/rough after 2 washes
I was initially thrilled with these sheets, but the bottom sheet has pilled after less than a month of use and is rough, as other reviewers have noted.

Bottom Sheet Bad Fit
I checked carefully to be sure the bottom sheet would fit my new mattress (13 inches height). Despite going by the measurements given by Garnet Hill (fits mattresses up to 15 inches), The bottom sheet barely fits on the corners and comes up several inches on the sides. I am stuck with these bad fit sheets since this bed is new and I needed all new bedding for this size bed and could only afford one set of sheets at this time due to just buying the bed. To send them back and order new ones elsewhere would mean being without a bed again for a period of time and just not up for that after a year of having to sleep sitting up due to vertigo. What a huge let down.

Do Not Recommend
We bought these sheets about a month ago, they have been washed one time. They have shown incredible pilling-- my son noticed it within the first couple of nights. Kind of astonishing. We've had lots of flannel sheets over the years. These are thin and not at all soft.
