Needs refining
I've bought a wide variety of sheets from Garnet Hill over the years. Sateen, percale, flannel, linen. This was my first experience with "relaxed sateen" and I have mixed feelings about it. What I like best is they are light weight, perfect for high summer, and I can do a full set of sheets, duvet, shams and pillow cases in one load of laundry. However, the top of the flat sheets have a very minimal 3" header that in the solid colors wrinkles like crazy and really needs to be ironed to look passable. A 4" or 5" fold would look much better in it's wrinkly natural state. Also, for the first time ever, the fitted sheets were a bit too small for our mattress, a new 14.5" deep Saatva. With previous regular sateen sheets the fitted sheet has always been more than ample. I think these would rise to loveable if the skimpy header and fitted sheet were slightly upgraded. As is, I don't think I'd buy them again. I adore the regular sateen sheets.

Wrinkly
I was disappointed for the price I was expecting more. They are soft but very thin and the head of the top sheet comes out of the dryer so wrinkly it doesn’t look nice folded down. I would iron it but I just don’t have the time

Love them but ripped after the second wash
I absolutely love these sheets, this is the second pair I've bought. However, the fitted sheet ripped after the second wash. I'm not tough on my sheets so not sure if it's a user error but disappointed that this one didn't hold up.

I washed the sheets before putting them on the bed in an extra bedroom. They came out of the dryer very crispy, crackly, not relaxed. I can’t say I don’t like it as I haven’t slept on it but they don’t seem relaxed.

Not cut properly
I wanted to love these sheets. Everything that comes out of portugal is usually top notch. I like the feel and color of the sheets but the set I got must have been cut wrong. The sheet is longer on one side than on other but its not even straight its at diagonal. So it will not fold properly no matter how many times I try but more importantly looks a mess on the bed. Extremely disappointed considering how much I paid for these

Color is not a match to the blanket
Pretty color but wishywashy to the quilt blanket!
Wrinkles easily. But is easy to iron, if you’re into that.
Bottom sheet is lop sided, one side tucks in, other doesn’t.

Great at the beginning and then...
I loved the first sheets that I bought. After the first fitted sheet developed a hole, I figured that I couldn't get that light-and-airy feeling for these summer sheets without some weakness in the fabric. Now that the second fitted sheet has developed a hole too, I'm wondering if the sheets are worth the price.

Super soft but too thin and ripped easily.
I loved these sheets but was wondering how long they would last being so thin. I only used them in Summer and we have looong winters here. I pulled them out this spring and after using them a couple of months this summer and a few last summer, they ripped in two spots when I propped myself up on my elbow to readjust in bed. I am around 110lbs so not super heavy. Love the feel and that they are organic and wished they lasted longer. Pretty dissappointed!

Disappointing
I bought a fitted and flat sheet in the “Spruce” shade. I was expecting a dark green color, as the photos undoubtedly show. Instead, I received sheets that appear dark gray in all types of lighting. I bought these sheets to replace the dark gray sheets I already had! Very disappointed.

Lovely color / feels like sharkskin
The reviews were so good that I bought a King set + 4 pillowcases in Blush. The color is NOT blush as in pink--it's more of a dark peach. They're a pretty hue, kind of 70s, but also modern and neutral, however they feel like sandpaper. My face is tender after sleeping on them. Was expecting luxurious, soft sheets. Got scratchy sheets with nice packaging instead.

Don’t waste your time or money
The worst sheets ever! Flat sheet that was washed once and ripped. Called customer service and they didn’t even ask what happened, I felt as though they could care less and didn’t care or want my feedback

I received the flat queen sheet in raspberry today. Even in the package one could see how VERY wrinkled it was. I did not expect it to be"sateen" because I read the reviews but do like the color. Let's face it, linens are no longer what they once were but I don't understand why all sheets are impossibly wrinkled.
"Relaxed" is a word used to designate wrinkles which cannot be ironed out.
I have old Garnet Hill Sateen sheets that are absolutely beautiful. The sheet I received today is most certainly NOT the quality Garnet Hill once sold.
I really am interested to know WHY quality linens are just not available anymore?

I am very disappointed in the quality of the sheets, especially given the price. They wrinkle very badly, no matter what settings I use to wash and dry them. Putting them on the bed only seems to create more wrinkles so that the bed looks like it has been slept in for days. I do iron just the pillow cases, but again, putting them on the pillows only creates more, and uncomfortable, wrinkles. Because of the wrinkling, the sheets bunch up badly, making for uncomfortable sleeping.

Set is useless because of wrinkled top sheet
This review is for the solid relaxed-organic-cotton flat sheet. I bought a sheet set for a king bed. I followed the washing instructions and was dismayed when the flat sheet came out with the top wrinkled tight like an accordion. It was so wrinkled that an iron couldn't straighten it. For whatever reason, the pillowcases didn't wrinkle the same way. The set is useless.

Very low thread count. . . I should have known. Does not feel sateen at all. Feels more like sleeping on a very thin and flimsy cotton make up remover pad. Disappointed.

garnet hill you have let me down on this one
Got these sheets today, unpacked and washed right away. My mistake. These are the shoddiest sheets. Fabric so thin you can see your hand through them. One of the pillowcases has a hole in it. I am almost afraid to look at rest. I should have looked them over before washing, but I trusted that Garnet Hill only carried good merchandise. I would return them if I could.

Would not buy again
These sheets have a soft, almost worn feel but the top of the sheet crinkled so terribly it came out in tight accordion pleats after washing and no amount of ironing was going to make them smooth. Also after washing the seams no longer lay straight at the sides of the pillowcases and the corners of the flat sheet no longer matched up. Last, the topstitching on the pillowcase was coming out after the first wash.

Poor quality
Sheets were worn and torn upon arrival. Launder poorly, wrinkle easily and are impossible to fold. Will stick with non-wrinkle sateen.

Didn't Last Long
I loved the softness of these sheets and the beautiful color. At first they were perfect. I washed on gentle in cool water and cool dryer setting as recommended. They continued to shrink and lose elasticity until eventually they wouldn't stay on the pillows or mattress at all. It was disappointing. For reference, my mattress is 11" tall. They fit initially, but keep loosing their shape.

Finally pulled the trigger and bought these sheets in the King size. They don't appear to me to be 1st quality as the pillowcase seams don't line up and the top of the Top sheet looks like an accordion when washed & dried. Inferior workmanship and I'm totally disappointed

Very disappointed. Sheets had fowl, really terrible odor. Thankfully I did not yet wash them. I Sent all back. I had same issue years ago with a different vendor. Washed twice but strong smell stayed. Advice--smell it before sleeping in it!!

I am so disappointed
The sheets came so wrinkled . I washed them and they are even more wrinkled. I have been buying sateen sheets for years and loved them. These are very soft and light but not a sateen finish.
