Gently chic
The ruffles on these sheet appealed to me, and I have loved them on my bed! I put them with the ecru linen sheets, using the linen flat sheet as a light weight coverlet, and the white ruffles to soften up the look, while still giving a sophisticated edge. Very pleased.

Softer than expected
I was very hesitant at first to put these on my bed as they felt scratchy. I am super picky when it comes to good quality sheets. I usually only buy Peacock Alley. I was pleasantly surprised that they are very comfortable. They do have a slight texture but it is not bothersome and they do feel like good quality and soft. I assume they will only get softer with time, washing, etc. They ruffle is so pretty! They are quite large. I have a Queen size mattress and there is a large amount of overhang.

Percale with Some Pop
Beautiful sheets -- color (blue) ruffle, etc. I learned we prefer the silkiness of sateen, in the future probably won't purchase percale. And these are fun and still happy we purchased them.

Soft sheets
The sheets are nice, very soft, but the king sizing was larger than standard king sizing. I had to shorten the pillow cases, standard and king size by 4” each to fit my pillows (which are industry standard length). The ruffle is nice, not girly. As always I wish Garnet Hill offered free shipping.

Good Quality Not So Good Sizing
I like the texture and the way the sheets are made and I like the way they wash; however, I don't like that the top sheet is too long and always hangs down below my quilt/spread. I have to tuck it in all the way to the top portion of the bed. I will try to order a queen size top sheet even though my bed is a king size bed.

Beautiful looking sheets -- not the best percale
These are really stunning sheets. Beautiful color and lovely design. But, if you are expecting substantial, smooth, old fashioned percale like grandma's sheets, these aren't for you. They look and feel like parchment. They are cool. But, I have serious concerns about how well these will hold up to regular wear. I had ordered another set of organic percale (on sale from another vendor at close to half the cost of these) and they are much better quality. Still, these do look nice. Time will tell how well they last.

Not what I expected
I love the crisp cool of percale, esp since my bedroom is so hot. Bought this set b/c of the ruffle. But it does not feel like percale I’ve had in the past. I would say they feel much more like linen. Not bad really, but heavy and def not the percale I’m used to.

Like these but...

Whitish patches on sheets
I’ve only had these sheets a year and they’ve developed whitish patches on them. They look like bleach stains but I don’t use bleach. Very pretty sheets but this is disappointing and I wouldn’t buy them again.

Skimpy
I really like the material, sort of a rougher cotton, not silky and smooth-the stars are for that and the ruffle is nice. However, the width is skimpy and is one of those that don't quite fit under the mattress or maybe will for one night and then it's popping out. I haven't tried the fitted sheet and decided to donate this flat sheet before it is worn and annoying me. I noticed the lack of width B4 I used the sheet, so it would only get worse with wash/drying. And, the fitted sheet would probably lack the depth also. All that is on the bed is a G.H. cotton mattress cover.

Not Worth the Money.
One wash, and there were small slit holes. Weird. I'm a gifted laundry gal, and it was first, gentle, cold water wash. I love Garnett Hill, and I've been with them for years. This is my first bad review.

Not soft
I bought these percale cases because I like the ruffle and because they are made of organic cotton. The description in the catalog is "garment-washed for soft, crinkled texture." The cases are crinkled, which is fine, but they are definitely not soft - I might even call them scratchy. I tend to like Garnet Hill clothes, but would think twice before ordering

Huge disappointment
I couldn't wait to try these sheets based on the positive reviews, but I'm very disappointed in their quality and construction. They are the harshest cotton sheets I have ever purchased. Instead of being lightweight, soft and silky, they are hardspun cotton like something from my grandmother's era. They are impossible to sleep in during warm summer months. I might like them better in the winter, but I prefer flannel over cotton in the winter.
