Is cashmere warm?
Yes: Cashmere’s long, lofty fibers regululate body temperature and naturally wicks moisture offering exceptional warmth in spite of their light weight.
Is cashmere better than wool?
Cashmere is just as warm and insulating as wool, but it’s a bit lighter weight. The material is hypoallergenic, and its long, fine fibers are even softer than sheep’s wool.
Does cashmere shrink?
Cashmere can shrink when exposed to heat, whether in the washing machine or in the dryer. For the best results, carefully follow the care instructions attached to your product, which likely include handwashing in cold water and air-drying away from heat or direct sunlight.
Does all cashmere pill as you wear it?
The long-lofty fibers do have a tendency to loosen from natural wear, as a result, they may form little balls or pills.
