have there been any complaints of the bed moving, wobbling when getting in and out of bed? My husband has concern about how "solid" the bed is...any comments?

What is the measurement between bolt/screw holes to attach the king headboard to a frame. I will be ordering the headboard only, would like to know if I will need adapters.

Beautiful bed!
This bed is gorgeous--beautifully crafted and lovely to look at. Several problems with delivery but Garnet Hill and the manufacturer were easy to work with, worth it in the end. Love that it's made in the US. We splurged on the California King and we're so glad we did--makes a beautiful bedroom centerpiece!

It is all there: Beauty, Quality and Value
I was a little nervous buying this bed having only viewed it on-line but knowing the high quality standards of Garnet Hill I took the chance. It was a great decision! The bed is sturdy, has a beautiful finish (I ordered Gunmetal) and design, easy to assemble, and the customer service from both Garnet Hill and the manufacturer was second to none. Highly recommend! Additionally, made in the USA!

Really enjoying this bed! The fabric headboard is great and the bed color was even better than the sample sent to us. A little problem with the insulation of canopy rail but great assistance from GH and the manufacturer. Problem quickly solved and we couldn't be any happier!

LaSalle King Headboard and Footboard (Bronze)
The bed is made in the US by a California company that sells only to the trade. Mine was made well and I do not have any issues with the fabric not fitting as some other reviewer mentioned. It did look more buttery yellow in the catalog but now the online photos do represent what the color looks like. We have some issues with a little creaking when the bed moves but it is not bad. Be prepared to wait a long time to get the bed. I ordered it in Sept. and received it at the end of December. I appreciate they are made in the US and to order, just pay attention to the lead time when you open tabs on the website for details. The side rails are gray and do not match the rest of the bed. I was hoping to insert a mattress that does not need a box spring and use it without a bed skirt. I am perplexed on why they do not at least paint the metal side rails to match the finish of the bed. I was able to get a sample chip from the manufacturer so I can try to find some paint and do this work myself. This is not an issue if you want to use a bed skirt or longer bedspread with your bed. It is tricky buying a bed with a fabric headboard sight unseen. A feature to request a fabric swatch would be amazing. Customer Service with Garnet Hill gets a 110%. From the person I spoke to when ordering it, to the updates I received about the shipping, the interactions were very professional. I am glad I ordered the bed. I need to paint my bedroom because the wall colors match the headboard exactly and that is the only reason I am not posting pictures.

Beautiful Bed
I love my new bed. It's beautiful and well-made. There is only one issue, and it's kind of a big one - the upholstered headboard not the color shown in the photos. I was expecting more of the oatmeal/taupe color you see in the photos and it's actually more of a light cream color. So disappointed in this feature after all these months of waiting.

Headboard fabric is yellow not cream
Well constructed bed but the headboard color and metal color are not as shown in the catalog or on the website. I have a cool taupe/gray color scheme in that bedroom and the soft yellow headboard ruins the scheme.

Beautiful but noisy
Received this bed in king size 3 or 4 months ago and the quality is good and style lovey.
We were looking for a bed with a footboard or short bottom posts to keep the quilts from falling on the floor in the middle of the night. Our bedroom is small so a true 4 poster wouldn't work.
This seemed to fit the bill and we ordered a metal 6" fully enclosed foundation to bring our mattress up to the bottom of the headboard.
Well, the bed squeaks and we can not figure out why. Thought it must be the metal
supports in the frame. Took the mattress and "box" off and still couldn't make the squeak ..
We figured it must be the metal box support so ordered a wooden one that has a zip over cover so no metal on metal or wood on metal at all.
Bed still squeaks!!!! Drives me mad at night. It happens most when getting into the bed or turning over from one side to the other. It's loud enough to wake me up when hubby gets back into bed after a mid-night bathroom visit.
Have contacted GH but they say we are the only ones with this problem......
Starting to search for another bed :(

Headboard doesn’t fit!
The headboard is very pretty, but the holes to attach it to any bed frame - except probably the one that matches - are spaced incorrectly so it is impossible to connect the two. I called customer service and was told many adapters are available online. After spending hundreds of dollars and countless hours ordering, trying and ultimately returning a variety of different modifications, I am left with a useless headboard that won’t even stand up when propped against the wall.

Terrible quality!
I order this bed in September for our guest bedroom we just put it together for holidays and never been so disappointed! Absolutely terrible! it squeaks every time you turn a specially when someone gets out our bed it wakes a person next to you. I felt embarrassed for my guest, next day my husband went to home depot bought different rubber washer and try retighten everything it’s still makes terrible noise.squick and metal grinder sounds , I looked up return policy and that should tell you all you need to know. They don’t stand behind their product!!! They call this custom order? How is it custom? It’s standard king size bed. At this point we are so frustrated we are deciding to cut head board off and just screw that to a wall and purchase different base. All I can say it’s Absolutely Not Worth the money we pay! I thought I was getting high quality, it is not. Cheap peace of crap . My second bed I purchased at Frontgate about same price and it’s so solid nothing moves.

Delivery into home is very minimal. make sure customers understand. garnet hill charges a lot for delivery and does not offer white glove service or even help. putting it together is fine but the bed is not sturdy and makes noises and flexes too much. very disappointed. i would advise garnet hill to not provide furniture if they will not be fully able to support. just really disappointed

VERY DISAPPOINTED. RETURNED.
I found the white LaSalle Iron Bed to be poorly made and made arrangements to return it immediately. There were gobs of soldering that were evident where the metal was joined and these gobs were just painted over with the white paint. In addition, the fabric headboard did not fit the metal frame well, as there were distinct gaps around the fabric headboard and the metal headboard frame that made it look sloppily made.
