Hello, what shade is the "soft white"? In the individual picture, it looks buttery (a bit yellow) but in the group picture, it looks more cream. And are swatches available? Thank you.
This is a true soft white. We compared our sample against a bright white background and could see elements of cream. We do not offer swatches.

Everything we were hoping for!
We took a chance and ordered this based on the New York Times "Wirecutter" blog that rated it as one of the favorite heavy blankets in their very detailed tests. We are thrilled with the purchase.
The blanket is definitely heavy, so those of you that don't like a lot of weight on you while you sleep may feel it is too much, but my wife and I both really love this feeling, and the blanket feels 'just right.'
The two different sides are well thought out, and they definitely work together to create a luxurious and super cozy feeling. I won't lie - there have been mornings it has been tough to get out of bed simply because of the comfort of this blanket.
We had to show friends and houseguests this blanket - it is that remarkable and adds such an amazing level of comfort and warmth...
We have not laundered it yet, so I don't know how it will hold up to repeated washings, but the stitching and workmanship out of the box was flawless and up to expectations for a blanket of this price.
We got the off-white King sized blanket, and it fits fine. If we're picky, we could say it 'just fits' the bed, and that another 3-4 inches could have made it a little more versatile, but it is just fine as is.
With temperatures recently in the mid to high 40's, this is blanket is enough to hold its own without needing any extra.
This is the kind of blanket you can be happy to know that there is no better option out there.... there may be different options, different materils/fabrics, different colors, different weights, etc... but as it stands, we are really pleased to know that we have an heirloom-quality blanket to use (presumably) for the rest of our days. Thank you Garnet Hill for such a high quality blanket.

Cozy and Well Made
My husband and I can never agree on a blanket as he sleeps warm and I am always cold. This lovely blanket (king size) has met both our sleeping warmth needs and it is very cozy and comfortable. I like the fabric outside, and love the plush inside. It did have wrinkles when I took it out of the shipping box, but after I put it on the bed, I plugged in the iron and smoothed it out. It has not needed anything since then. I believe I received value for the price of this blanket.

Great Blanket
We have several comforters from Garnet Hill, but I wanted a blanket and decided during a sale to try this one. We LOVE this blanket. I ordered the fig color, which is a rich deep reddish mahogany color. Great color for the holiday season and goes with almost all of our sheets patterned or solid. This blanket is very warm. I would say it is as warm as the Garnet Hill (non-down) comforters.

So cozy and warm
This blanket was heavier than I assumed, at least the warmth factor is amazing. The comfy and cozy factor is as well. We live in California and I tried using this with a cotton blanket, plus our comforter and it was more like an east coast winter warmth pile! Now I just use it at the end of the bed to pull up while reading or watching TV. I like it so much I plan to get a smaller one for my sofa, and a full size for our guest bed!

Great Gift!
I purchased a few of these for Christmas as gifts, and I kept one for myself. They are so great! Just the right weight for a cosy throw, and the fleece side is super soft. Highly recommended. I do wish I'd purchased mine a little bigger- I bought the throw size and would love it to be about 6" larger.
