Hello, what shade is the "soft white"? In the individual picture, it looks buttery (a bit yellow) but in the group picture, it looks more cream. And are swatches available? Thank you.
This is a true soft white. We compared our sample against a bright white background and could see elements of cream. We do not offer swatches.

Amazing blanket!
Not sure how a blanket can be both warm and lightweight at the same time but this one is. It is also amazingly soft. I like it so much that I now have two.

Simply the Best

Wonderful blanket
My husband purchased this blanket for me after you guessed it, reading about it in Wirecutter. Having lived with it since Christmas, it's hands down my favorite blanket. It's so soft, perfect weight, and the fuzzy side reminds me of the same blankets they use when you get a massage. I am slowly replacing all of my blankets in the house with these.

Wirecutter was right - the best throw ever!
Like probably a zillion other people, I found out about this throw from the New York Times section Wirecutter. Since it came, I have been mostly delighted with it. The interior is unbelievably soft, the cotton shell stays very clean, and the insulation is just right. So it’s the stitching and finishing. My only minor complaint, which is really my own problem, is that it seems to slide off of me when I’m sleeping, when other comforters didn’t do that. Since it is soft face down, I’m a little baffled by that because it’s doesn’t seem likely to slide.
All in all I agree with the Times; this is the best comforter out there.

Best throw ever!
I searched for a cotton blanket to use as a throw during our New England, spring, falls, and winter’s, this one ticked all the boxes. Use the fuzzy side if it’s a little colder and then flip it over if you just need to cozy up! My whole family wants their own now!

Excellent purchase
this blanket was exactly what we wanted. It’s great because the dog sleeps with my son so it repels his hair on one side but it is soft on the other side. The stitching is very well done, and the color matches what we expected. Excellent purchase!

Blanket of your dreams....
A friend bought me this plush throw a few years back. Snuggle with my coffee and a book every morning and see the blanket envy in her eyes. It is so warm, soft and comforting. When I want to nap, I'm like Linus, and bring it along. This year I got her the same throw in her favorite color. Now she can cocoon while sipping a warm beverage and doing cross-words or watching a football game. This is your best friends next gift!

Fantastic cold weather friend
I bought the throw version of this blanket and cannot be happier with it! I had been searching for a replacement for a blanket I had in college that was similarly fuzzy on one side, smooth and cool on the other in a quilted style for years and years. This one is much higher quality than that old dorm room blanket.

I can’t say enough good things about this blanket. Read about it on Wirecutter, and it definitely lives up to the hype. So soft, so unbelievably cozy, but not super thick like a comforter or anything. Great for curling up on the couch or sleeping with at night. It’s the most I’ve ever spent on a blanket but I can tell I’ll have it for years to come. Only complaint: wish it came in more colors!

BUY THE BLANKET - ITS WORTH IT
Literally the best blanket I’ve ever owned. I received one as a gift probably 7 years ago and it was still my favorite. So I just recently bought a new one for home and left the old one at our lake house for cozy snuggles everywhere. Whenever I bring it somewhere everyone fights over who gets to use it. 😂
